Each puzzle is a position from a game of Bagchal, with one goal. Play your move right on the board: tap a piece, then the point it goes to. If you get stuck, press Start over or Show the answer. New to the game? Read how to play first.
Find the capture
Tigers to move. One goat can be captured right now. Tap the tiger, then the point it jumps to.
Show the answer
The tiger jumps diagonally over the goat in the center and lands on the empty point beyond it. The other goats next to it are safe, because the points behind them are taken.
Spot the danger
One goat can be captured on the tigers' next turn. Tap it.
Show the answer
The goat just above the center tiger has an empty point behind it, so the tiger can jump it. Every other goat next to a tiger has a piece right behind it.
Save the goat
Goats to move, and goats are still coming in. A tiger is about to capture. Bring in a new goat where it stops the capture.
Show the answer
A new goat on the point behind the threatened goat blocks the jump. A goat with another piece right behind it can't be captured from that side.
Set up a fork
Tigers to move. No goat can be captured yet. Move a tiger so that it threatens two goats at once.
Show the answer
From the center, the tiger can jump either goat on its next turn. The goats can block only one of the two jumps, so one goat will fall.
Trap the tiger
Goats to move, and all the goats are in. Trap the tiger in the corner with one move.
Show the answer
The goat steps in diagonally next to the tiger. Now every point around the tiger is taken, and so is every point behind those goats, so it can neither step nor jump.
Close the gap, carefully
Goats to move, and all the goats are in. A tiger can capture next turn. Stop it with one move, without opening a gap somewhere else.
Show the answer
Filling the gap behind the threatened goat stops the jump: the goat on the top edge can slide over, or the threatened goat can step up into the gap itself. The goat up and to the left of the center tiger can reach the gap too, but leaving its point opens a gap behind its neighbor, and the other tiger would jump it.
